I am so depressed by my performance here lately :(
In this challenge here I thought I had nailed it, but my score doesn't reflect it. One comment gave me some insight into where I may have fallen short, but I really had high hopes for this entry.
oh well, on to the next one...

Re edited some of the shots from this shoot in black and white last night. Arrrgh, why didn't I try this before the submission deadline? It gave a much more classy and glamorous feel. |

OUCH! T'was a GREAT picture, but all 5 comments said the same basic thing...took them to heart did some changes and pic looks AMAZINGLY better now! It's a learning expierence :-)

I keep bouncing around a bit too. It was as high as a 6.27 and I am now back to 6.24. I am definitely not one that could be considered good at portrait photography...I am very happy with my score. In fact, I have trouble getting things in focus or sharp. I have been relying on a few members helping me out in a side challenge to help me improve. I think it is working. |

My guess is that since the same model was used in two entries (the other being a bit better posed and composed than yours) cost you some low scores (it likely cost the other entry some votes as well). You made some suggestions that the voting was low because of perceived nudity, but I think it had to do with the points raised above. Cheers! |
