The people of Toronto have pretty much had it with these folks after they blocked the Gardiner Expressway, a major, elevated highway through Toronto. I heard they used their children as a front line to block traffic, though wasn't there to see it myself.

Here's a link to the newspaper story about what's going on, I was just there and got these photos.

Is there a particularly large amount of Sri Lankans in Toronto? I've seen info on the story of the resistance but didn't really think there would be a strong contingent over hear in NA.

The newspapers said 200,000 in Toronto, mostly Scarborough (a suburb of Toronto). I think it's the most anywhere, I suppose because they're 'listed' by some governments (including Canada) as a terrorist group, and Canada Immigration welcomes terrorists. That's my understanding anyhow.
