Some rather fun shots of Air Force one:

I hadn't realized it was seen on Tattoine. That was probably a lot more expensive than NYC!

Must have been an F-16D (two seat) fighter.

Probably, but it still is a kinda funny though. Fighter pilots brings handholding camera to another dimension kinda thing.

That's hilarious. I'm going to email it to all my Yankee friends. :-D

Actually, a friend in Washington sent me an unedited copy of the original capture, from which you can see that those Feds have amazing editing capability, developed by the NSA, to pull detail out of terrible captures:

Heck, if I had software like that I'd win every ribbon :-)

Is this the "official" photo? I'm guessing they took a lot more but if this is all they got I think they need to reshoot.

It's not worth $328,000 at all. And it's painful to know we, as taxpayers, paid for this. Maybe Harrison Ford will help sort this out. LOL

Cheers!

That's almost extremely unbelievable...

Anyone know what camera that was used or something like that? Any EXIF on the original Bear_Music?

It's a Hubble Space Telescope shot. Atmospheric distortion was extreme.

Aaaaah..... Explains a bit. I tried to come up with some silly joke on that, but I failed... Was working my way to HubblespacetelephotoLens, and the astronaut was handholding the camera/lens...
