What, you send blackmail cheques to Sheila every month, too? :-)

But never fear, I do have the shots of what I was shooting when Sheila was shooting me...

05/07/2009 08:53:32 PM · #29
cheque=check

Piece of paper endorsed by a bank, upon which you write down to whom you are paying money, and in what amount, and signed by you...mind in this increasingly *paperless* society, you may not see too many of them anymore!

Ok, yea, that constitutes as weird, because it's a Canadian saying it, but don't ever tell a brit that "Colours" is mispelled.

Cheque is English too.

You are so not going on my swine flu Mexico trip now JD

Sometimes we throw in 'ou' instead of just 'o', like in Honours as opposed to Honors. Blame the Brits!

i thought that was canadian too. hmm. oh, and why do brits say Math(as in math class) as Maths? its not plural, why should there be an s? it confuses me

I guess because they invented the language. Or was it the Romans? Anyways...

Um, yep. Sometimes. I like to see if my comments line up with what other people said, and all of my comments about compression artifacts tend to be in that area. I'm usually the only one that sees it. I can spot compression artifacts at 20 yards.

Whats great about this site is that all the subpar images recieve plenty of comments. Mostly constructive criticism. The average photos usually get a handful of comments at most, mostly impressionism that pleased a selected few. And finally, the gems of the challenges get the most comments, but mostly "Wows" and "Ohhhs and Ahhs"

Oh, wait... you HAVE seen her like that... Okay, another shot then!

Oops, sorry, still with the feet. Well, THIS one is different! Snaffles in bed... almost... but no feet in the air!

Oh yeah? Well, here's what I was shooting whilst being shot...

BeeCee to the right of the entranceway...

The Crow...maybe carrying the spirit of Brandon Lee too, for all I know... and finally

Tulips.

So there! :-)

That's awesome! Mine aren't nearly as impressive, I think I need to work on my shooting style.

Because it's short for mathematics, which IS plural.

I think these weird poses need a special thread of their own. If Melethia's pidgeons can have one, why not?

An idea for a challenge comes to me.

We do it to confuse everyone. But our spelling is of course the best :P

Oh & I always lok at the first challenge page to see the top 10 then head straight to the last page and work forward too.

Well, what THEY abbreviate as "maths", and WE abbreviate as "math", is properly the word "mathematics", which of course IS a plural, so you tell me who's actually got it right :-)
