I worked a few hours tonnight on some files for the Outdoor Photographer "Your Favorite Places" contest. Entries had to be in by 11:59 Pacific Time.
So I figured I had until 2:59 AM my time.
When I tried to submit just before 2 am, it says:
We're sorry. Your image(s) cannot be submitted.
Either you have exceeded the number of images allowed or we are not currently accepting new submissions for this contest.

ARGGGH is all I have to say. Not fair.
Did anyone enter late tonight? (Presumably still 20 minute left, but it doesn't work!)

Yes, I didn't think about that until this morning. I found a short thread, and I wasn't alone. The odd thing was that it may have been broken all day. Or it could just be problems with some accounts. But it probably wasn't "early closing".
I sent my photos last night in an email to the editor--not that it will mean anything.
Personally, I think they should extend the deadline because of that!
