I have had my camera for a year or so, but have not been able to take many good pictures of my kids. They move way too fast for this slow camera. Most of what I have taken of them are either out of focus because they moved between setting the focus and opening the shutter, or have motion blur pretty bad. I won't torment you with the before shots, but I took them to a park today and snapped a few pictures while they where interested in a goldfish pond. Here are some of them:
My 6 year old daughter Jadzia:
and, my 5 year old son Alex:
These were all taken with my Olympus C720UZ with natural lighting at around 6:00pm and I have placed the exposure settings with the images. Comments and suggestions of how I could have handled it better are always welcome.
It was about time I put something in my portfolio; it was looking rather baren compared to the others I've been looking at.

/edit: I forgot to mention that these images are basically straight out of the camera; converted to 16bit, resized with bicubic sharper and then saved for the web.
