Ah shucks, just as I was having so much fun with Topaz, my 30 day trial ran out. I should have been thinking ahead and processed some extra images to carry me through the end of the month.

I definitely will be purchasing at least Adjust, but not for a couple of weeks. I start my new job on Monday so I will not have a paycheck for a little while.

Dang it, my trial just expired too, and I definitely haven't had it for 30 days yet! I downloaded it on the 1st. Hmm. I was planning to buy Adjust after the month was up (it's just so useful, after all) but I'm kind of miffed at Topaz for the early expiration.

I think something is up here...it seems many of us who had trial licenses had them run out early. I like the program, but am not happy with the 'service' so far. I sent an email to Topaz stated that very fact. We will see what happens from here on out.

Anyone else have that problem?

Topaz's discount, at the time I bought, had been around for a while and was listed on the website; they e-mailed me at trial expiration and pointed me to the code for the product, which (as I said) was available on the web to anyone. It doesn't seem to be there anymore, so... There's a bundle of Adjust, Denoise, Simplify and Clean2 for 129.99, which is the price of Denoise and Adjust alone (79.99 and 49.99 respectively).

Thanks for the explanation Bear. I guess I am just disappointed that they 'advertise' a free 30-day trial on the website (the link is up this AM) and yet the trial only lasted about 10 days. It seems a bit fishy...but maybe it is just a flaw in the licenses and all can be remedied.

Well, MY experience with customer service (Eric was the guy, he's in charge of it apparently) was all positive: I paid for the Adjust/Denoise bundle and they sent only the Adjust unlock code, so I emailed them and he had it straightened out within 12 hours... I wouldn't be surprised if something buggy is going on since they have totally changed the web site too.

Yup, sure seems like some sort of glitch to have all these trials expiring early, and at the exact same time. I downloaded it on April 26th and got the "expired" notice when I tried using it this morning.

It *seems* that a "license extension" may be possible; check here in the support page: //www.topazlabs.com/support/trial.html

Here is their forum for question postings:

I have not seen anything on the forums but it has to be a glitch with all of you having the same situation.

I emailed Eric Yang at Topaz and invited him here in to help us with this, let's see if he has time for that :-)

Excellent idea! I just emailed Albert who seems to be affiliated with Topaz too so we shall see what happens :)

Eric from Topaz just sent an email with updated trial licenses. Quick turnaround and great response...I am sold and will now purchase. He mentioned a small glitch they had on their end. If you have a similar issue, I would recommend sending him a quick email.

Hello,

Nice thread you have here! It looks like a lot of fun.

Sorry about the trial license keys expiring prematurely. If this has happened to you, try visiting //www.topazlabs.com/downloads and entering your email address again for a new set of license keys that will work for another 30 days. I just updated the keys so they should work swimmingly now. If you have any questions or have any further problems let me know at support[at]topazlabs.com .

Thanks and we all appreciate your support!

Best,
Eric Yang

As I said I would, I tried Turnofthesue's comic book style. It was fun, but took several tries to get it right. The adjustments in Poster edges, and in TA Simplify are important. I didn't get good results with the defaults.
