I finally got my website up and running. I went with a smugmug site and although I spent months working on a flash site I figured this is much easier in the long run and cheaper.
Can anyone give me any critiques please?

It's rather nice with a good diverse range of images, my one gripe would be when you select a gallery it then goes in to wide mode which makes the header image look odd, I would personally go for a fixed width throughout the theme or alter your header so that it looks ok no matter what the width of the screen (maybe using a gradient).

ETA: Hmmm looking further I think you probably have too many images up, I would pick your very best in each category and stick to those (maybe 8 - 10 in each category), the weaker images bring down your better work (for instance the blue car with the bonnet up is nowhere near as strong an image as the rest IMO).

Excellent choice for the banner. Love the home page! And like  Mark-A said you have a nice range of images. |

Oh trust me I know I have too many pictures. What I find though is that people like different pictures I have done.
I want to keep everyone happy with the wide range of images I have.

I like what you've done overall. Very nice.
The "Special Edit" section under services is cool. Good idea! On that same page you have a minor typo for the Children/Family Portraits section (1st paragraph needs to read "...photographs of your family, ..."). |

I would run over they text a few more times. I am a terrible editor, but in your " About me "area you say "I was effactuated with HDR". Do you want to say infatuated?
On the graphic side, the lime green that smug mug uses clashes with the style of the pages. I would change it if you can, if you can't then incorporate it into your frames so it is more thematic. One error is a mistake, repeated it becomes a theme, do it long enough and it becomes a style. If you can't loose the annoying green, if you use it enough it will be less distracting

Your website is simple yet nice. Your images look great too. Just a couple of suggestions: 1) You may consider editing the writeup on your About Me page. Aside from some grammar/capitalization issues, I think the way it was written could be improved more to make it more interesting, and 2) You may consider changing the arrangement of the links above. I think the Home * About Me * Blog* Galleries * Services * Contact Me! is better.
