Starling of some sort. Just the general look of him. Or her. See if they respond to the name 'Clarice' and you'll have your answer :-)

After googling Starling (thanks Wendy and Susan :)) I'm figuring it's an adult European Starling. It was introduced to the US around 1890 and has become a nuisance to crops apparently. I occasionally see literally hundreds of them in my trees in the backyard. My backyard is backed up to a cornfield.

They are loud and probably pissing off the farmer, but it's beautiful to see hundreds and hundreds of these birds swarming in and out of my trees! Will break out the video camera next time they visit.
