I have been on here for a year and I still don't know how to post a picture right, I know how to get a hyperlink, but not the picture, can someone please tell me how to do that please.

Take the numbers of the image and stick it between
[ img] number [ /img]
just without the spaces

images from your portfolio: copy the id number of the image from its url
it will look like IMAGE_ID=778550 at the end, just copy the 778550
then, in a forum, select teh little icon at the top of the reply window that looks like two rectangles (second in from the right) and paste the 778550 in the dialog box, enter.
or you can paste the 778550 directly into the reply window, select (highlight) it as if you were going to copy it, and then click the same icon.
It will look like this without the spaces
[thumb] 778550 [/thumb]
If you do a preview, you can see if it worked, and the image will appear
you can do someone's username link in a similar fashion... use the right hand icon (headshot) instead |
