imho this is a very poor challenge with regards to quality of work, I've still got to run through my votes again but there are maybe one or two that will get bumped to an 8. That said I actually submitted a test shot and never re shot it to correct the flaws.

Well, I wouldn't say that - it seems like all the submitters at least made the effort to meet the challenge subject criteria - for me, it was just a little odd that I just couldn't see what the authors were getting at as I'm fairly open to ideas and concepts that are somewhat outside the norm if you will.

I just simply ran out of words when I kept seeing the same idea, or had to really struggle to get the point, over and over again. At that point, commentary becomes very unpleasant and a chore which is not the point. So you just rate the images as best you can, comment where you can and move on from there.

I guess my image just doesn't fit the criteria of the challange, or is just poorly executed? I thought I was really on to something, but oh well, it is up to the voters to decide the merits of each shot.
