I have both these flashes. Is there a way to figure out the difference in light output between these two flashes? Other than just trying different settings?

I tried firing the flashes on 1/32 power, zoomed to 85mm, and the 600 was about 1/3 stop darker then the 900. As I crank up the power, will this be linear? Will it still be 1/3 stop darker at full power?

I remember that I was told to get a flash recalibrate once a year. *shrugs*

It also may have something to do with that the 900 has a bigger head, that is more efficient.
