I just took delivery of a 48" light tent and need some advice.

I installed one of the included back drops but no matter what I do I always see the creases in the fabric
in my shot.

I am shooting my strobes through the sides of the tent and the exposure of the subject seems fine.

Any help or pointers would be very much appreciated.

Or is it simply a case of ironing out the creases lol

Those included backdrops are junk. I suppose you steam out the creases, or use rolled paper for a backdrop.

Iron the backdrop, be careful not to melt the plastic on the iron though!!

Move the subject further away from the backdrop.

If you are wanting a darker background shine the lights slightly forward through the side so the background is more in shadow .... if you want it more washed out shine a light through the back of the light tent.

Many thanks, I'll get my iron out and have a play with the lighting

Ironing seems to have done the trick but I found the felt like side can give an uneven lighting affect that I can only attribute to
the flock of the fabric.
However I turned it over so that the shiny side was up and that gave a better result.

Ok here it is...

48" Cube tent.
Two Bowens Strobes firing down through the tent
D200 on tripod controlled by Camera Control Pro on a PC just out of shot.

All set up in my spare bedroom (spot the bed on it's side lol)

I would have shown the inside but that may have just given away my entry for this week
