I'm doing the background for a magazine cover, and this is my first concept. I don't have a background figured out yet, but the feet are masked so it's an easy thing.
My desire at this point is to make it appear as if the ball of the foot is touching down on a glassy, smooth puddle. So I want to deform the bottom "reflection" layer into ever-widening ripples.
Any help or pointers to learning material? :-)
