Look here for brief history
From that, 3 lemons, same store, within 14 days.
First one was stellar for optical quality (so I KNOW it's possibilities). The second and third were mediocre.
I am still debating if I should still go this route. The Nikon 24-70 is simply unparalleled even at it's price. Or settle for less and keep my life simpler(i.e nikon 18-70 3.5-4.5). I think I'll be able to make myself evenly as happy for a bunch on smaller stuff.
I am thinking that I'll try one more time, this time through B&H. (I'll save $130 this way)
Or just not take the chance and go through with stress again? And go with simpler way.
I am having a hard time deciding myself.
BTW, No, I am not interested in the nikon 17-55 or tamrons, or sigmas.
