I will be interviewed for a position that I have a good chance of getting. What would be a reasonable salary?
It is an established family-owned wedding photography studio. The position is "production assistant", which mostly involves advanced photoshop editing, and high volume digital file handling, with tight deadlines and quality standards. There will be some office chores as well. It is full time (40 hours) a week.
They are not looking for someone with formal training or an appropriate degree (as I have neither). My photoshop and photography skills are self-taught, which I guess is good enough for them.
Please advise!! :)

Around here that pays $8.50/hour and I could probably get someone for less. But it can pay $15 an hour in other areas. So much depends on where you are, what it costs to live there, what the economy is like.

Sounds reasonable. I guess I'll ask for $25 then. |

Beaver, PA.
It's rural-ish here and nothing much pays well - but on the flip side the cost of living is lower here so you don't need $20/hour.
