Can it do a multiple exposure on the same frame ? .... or something like that Xray Serendipity pic ?

No you can't do multiple exposures with the 300D. But there is a way around it. Use a very long exposure or use "Bulb" in a completely dark room, then light up in sequence the subjects you want to make a picture from and voila! See example below.

not positive but I don't think any digital camera can.
I would use layers in photoshop for that, but for a single image
I think that doctornick's idea is about as close as you are going to get |

One of the Fuji cameras (S602?) can do multiple exposures in camera.
