I don't care if some think this technique is "so '90's," I like it. Any opinions or thoughts? Which is better? Isn't it funny how just the eyes make such a difference in focus?

I think it's a lovely shot of the little girl. The technique is fun, but I don't care for it because I think it detracts from the girl too much. I really like the girl's expression.

edit: I forgot to add that her top seems too bright. You might want to work on that area a bit, but it's a minor thing as the focus of the photo is on her face.

Cute kid!!! I think the eyes look good but the other color splashes are a bit distracting.

Bring down the saturation on the eyes its very unnatural. You may want to play around with hand coloring techniques too.
