sometimes i get down about my abilities and their slow improvement. trying to figure out what i'm doing wrong. it's nice
when i find something to help me get things into perspective. i found this great post and although it is meant for large format photographers i think we can all relate.

Also known as the Silver Bullet.

We all make that mistake, trying to buy something instead of learning something. Thank you for that often needed little slap on the wrist.

Haven't finished reading it yet, but this one line stood out to me as something I totally agree with:
Good prints are the result of many incremental improvements.

Well in my current career of 22 years, Programmer Analyst. I've told people on several occasions.
"I've made every mistake there is, so what's left has got to be perfection."

Yeah sometimes I feel that way, but learning and improving, involves constantly trying things and learning from mistakes. A good Salesman can sell Moose crap in Alaska.
