I was unlucky enough for my Nikon D700 and My Imac to stop working on the same day. Oh well, at least they both failed under warranty!

Fortunately I purchased the camera from Jessops, my local high street dealer. The bad news is that they forecasted 4 week minimum for the diagnosis/repair. To my surprise I got the camera back today, after only 7 days. What a great service. Thanks Nikon/Jessops.

Unfortunately my Imac was supposed to be ready today (7 days) but when I called Apple I was put on hold for 15 mins. I hung up called again. I was then told that the other guy had gone on a break leaving me on hold. I gave my service number only to be told that it was not repaired and they had no idea when it would be fixed. I was informed that if I had purchased their special care type package for £70+ i would get better service, as I hadn't I would need to wait in line. The sales people in the store have always been fantastic, but from my one experience their backup stinks.

Jessops and Nikon - 10/10
Apple 1/10
