Do you resize when you place photos in your Portfolio also? If so, what is generally a good size? Same as for the challenges? |

I usually make them challenge-sized or a little smaller. Sometimes I'll apply one more level of compression to get it more around 70-100kb instead of 150kb -- but then, I'm short on space. |

I just use the same 150k rule as for challenges. I find it works quite well, but I am now getting very full myself. Boy, would I like to see an option for more portfolio space. I'm gonna have to start deleting photos associated with old threads soon, and that's too bad; some of those threads are great learning tools with all the various editing takes.

I make them around 50kb. If you plan on adding a lot of photos to your portfolio don't make them too big or you will run out of space pretty quick.

I am also running out of space, so I have started putting in really small images for some of my older photos and then a link to a photo in my pbase gallery in the comments as the full-size image. Click the thumbnail for an example:

I link to a lot of images at pBase, but it makes it harder to get comments from DPCers that way. |
