how would you guys have rated that photo in the silhouette challenge? I had this photo in mind for month now and I was waiting for a challenge like silhouette but i didn't have the time to take it then.

The subject and the time of day lends to a very bold image. Only improvement I would suggest is maybe a closer crop of the building.

I see some really nice intricate details in the subject, especially until the shining sun that you could use to make the viewer look at the photo longer. "7" if I were to vote.

I like the photo, though I think it would have been much better if you let the sun go down some more. I don't really like the bright spot right in the middle of the building. Nice color in the sky also.

It is above average for sure. General technical quality, especially the focus, is good and framing is OK. I'm not bothered by the overexposed sun in this one, but I usually would be. The psychological contrast between an industrial area and a sunset is always a fruitful area of photography.

I would waver between scoring this a 6 or 7. If I did not rate it 7 it would be for one of two reasons. 1-There is some distracting haloing around the building. That should be cloned out. 2-The sky color seems artificially orangish-yellow even after accounting for the fact that it should be oversaturated for this particular image.

Overall, you should be pleased with this effort.

Thanks all for the comments and the score... This just gave me a lesson: when i have an idea for a photography for months and it fits a challenge perfectly, i SHOULD NOT TINK TWICE ABOUT WETHER I HAVE THE TIME OR NOT AND GO OUT SHOOT IT!!!!
