| At least I'll be able to avoid the floral and pets shots I've grown to hate, simply by not voting next week. I wish I could filter that effectively every week. |

I just shot about 500 pictures at the zoo...............................last Saturday that is. Yeh. I wont be in fauna. hahah.

| Hey if we shoot a flower with a bee on it we can leave it until the last minute to decide which challenge to enter eh lol |

The secret to successful Flower shots is (as Scott Kelby puts it) "Bee Patient".
(or wait for the Bee to land on the flower!) LOL. |

I wonder if I could balance a wolf on a flower, maybe with the Northern Lights as a background??

Shoot in Autofocus mode of your camera. If Flower is in focus, submit in Flora. If Bee is in focus, submit it in Fauna.
If none is in focus...? Well, why didn't this idea occur to me last week! LOL. |

I tell you what there are some people who work at my local fast food place (the name of which i will keep back) who I could photograph and quite easily
enter in Flora without any risk of a DNMC |

| Well the snow is almost gone. Some of blubs in my yard are coming up but no flowers yet. So if I what to shot flora I will have to head down to the valley and see if the wild flowers are blooming yet. |

I guess these links might help inspire some... but be warned... lots of flower and animals.
Flora I, Fauna I, Flora II, Fauna II.
I notice a severe dearth of pet photos in the top rating fauna shots. Guess I WONT be taking any puppy photos.

Oh, c'mon; dare to be different!
I took about a hundred flower shots yesterday and have a bunch I really, really like. And that was just day 1 of shooting ;-) I predict my camera is going to get quite a workout this week. And then I get to vote on all kinds of flower shots, and animal shots. Many things to look forward to. |
