I sat here looking at my screen seeing the message that stated my subscription ended tonight and I pondered if I would renew. Heck, its only 25 bucks right? I paid with some money I won from one of my photographs, so I suppose its a good investment.
I cant believe its been a whole year. I remember stumbling upon this site a little over a year ago while I was deployed and going through one of the hardest experiences for me. I was just learning about photography and experimenting a little bit. I think I have come far since then and I hope that my drive has not subsided from what it used to be.
A whole year gone by and so many chapters opened and closed. I am about to embark on a new journey, the end of my 6 year enlistment with the USAF. I have been in since I graduated High School and looking forward to it. With that said I hope to share the photos influenced by the new journey and I hope to continue spreading my wings.
I hope to become more involved in the community. People here know others by name, I want to be that close with people here. |

| Glad you renewed, Matthew. Looking at your portfolio, I see tremendous growth in your photo skills. From your first challenge entries, however, I see a POV and honesty I admire. I am glad I get to see more of your work ( I just renewed as well.) |

I always like seeing feel good stories. And this is one of them. Congrats for your first year and your end of 6 year stint....and I look forward to seeing your images over the next few years.
