I was looking through the ZA tutorial the other day after seeing it mentioned in one of the forums here. As usual one thing led to another and I spotted a processing style I really liked. It is not suitable for many things but I can see some uses for it and would like to add it to my repertoire.
Here is one
and the first 2 images on this page which is by a different photog, but very similar. |

Like anything with image processing, there are several ways to get this contrasty look, but for ease of use have a look at Lucis Arts //www.lucisart.com/

I have topaz and, while no expert, I cannot readily see how to achieve this...any hints?
Thnx will check out the lucisart. |

LR can do this, or close. Do it and layer in PS with a non-modified file will do it.
Looks a lot like HDR to me as well, just slightly tweaked.

I agree elements of HDR do seem present but when 'tweaked' it adds an 'illustration' type quality I rather like.
Have DLd and tried the Lucisart plugin and I'm rather pleased with it, very good for commercial work. |
