Shakespeare's stage direction (The Winter's Tale 3.3.57) was actually: Exit pursued by a bear.
No direction of exit specified. I suppose you could say it doesn't matter, but it does.

The next stage direction is: An old Shepherd enters.
Maybe he was referring to our bear after all?

Okay, so I'm not word perfect in Shakespeare...!

That's it, I can't stand it anymore, I'm leaving! I'm never coming back, it's no good trying to persuade me to stay...It's not. Bye...bye...I mean it.

I'm gonna stamp my foot really hard now.

I think the world has been a little more tense over the last year or so... Might be part of the problem here at DPC.

I'm not sure if the good old days were so golden, I recently found a funny thread from 04 that sounded like it could have been written yesterday.

Poster 1: I think it's time for me to leave
Poster 2: Don't leave, but maybe you've outgrown this place.
Poster 3: Poster 1 is an idiot and I'm not sure if he knows how to hold a camera.
SC 1: enough of the personal attacks
Poster 2: Poster 3 can't talk, he never participates in challenges.

ad infinitum... ;)

I've said it before--DPC is good people.

Well, I joined around Christmas '04, and I think I've quit 3 times since then. The thing is, none of you know it 'cuz I didn't tell anybody, and in the event(s) it never lasted long. The only time anybody noticed I'd quit was the one time I *hadn't* quit, LOL: I was in the hospital... So, basically, what works for me is just to keep mum and soldier on :-)

Like I said, "In the event(s), it never lasted long..." I think the longest I ever quit for was maybe 72 hours...

That's just like you, confusing Antigonus and Snagglepuss. It's a wonder you can even tie your own shoes.

Nope, I wear little red woolly ones, with a string attached to each mitten and threaded through my coat sleeves so I don't lose them:) But it's a bugger walking round with one arm hanging down and the other all crunched up!

(last I checked anyway, I remember having some dangly bits)

The gender is specific to the word in Spanish, NOT the person using it.

Life in Spanish is a feminine word......hence locA

(I've been trying to learn it for years with varying degrees of failure!)

Vivendo a vida louca;
Vivendo a vida louco;
Vivendo a vida;
Vivendo...

Egggzackly what idiot mitten are. The best part of those are grabbing one and pulling, and watching the person slap themselves in the face. (stolen from Bill Cosby, referring to his brother, Russel)

The guy said,'Don't you mean an inner tube?'
I said,'Yep, how much inner can you get??'

Okay....I'll hold Steve still.....

Who wants to bitch-slap him 'til he screams like a girl?

Ever since you joined the site, I have felt an affinity with you. We both have kids, we both have cameras and we are both OLD!! We must be brothers? Brother, can you spare a dime??

And, I bet you like Blues music?

I just went out and found an MP3 last night of the Savoy Brown cut "Sunday Night", I've seen B.B.King live, and I have Stevie Ray Vaughn's autograph.....

What do you think?.....8>)

Glad you stepped in bear_music. I also thought that remark was inappropriate, offensive and, if one needed to make it at all, perhaps more suited to a locker room than a photography forum.

P.S. Admittedly, you said it nicer than I just did.
:-))

Nope.....dead wrong.

Considering the relationship I had with my parents, it's virtually impossible.
