Canon EF-S 18-55mm f/3.5-5.6 IS

Hey all. I just ordered my first ever Digital SLR camera. I've always loved photography, my father is pretty good at it, but I've never taken the time to get into it myself beyond what I've done with my little Cannon S40. But now that I'm picking up a D70, I'm hoping I'll be able to take my photography to the next level and really make it more of an art form :D

I'll have loads of questions I'm sure, so I apologize in advance for asking where my pencil is when it's behind my ear (so to speak).

Anyhow, good to find this forum. Hope to become a semi-useful part of it. :D

Enjoy your new camera, I'm jealous. :) When ever you can't find your pencil, be sure to ask here because people will love to tell you were to find it. :D :D

MIchael, I just looked at your profile, and saw that you live in Virginia. I also just bought a D70...It is awesome...By the way I also work in a camera store, so I have gotten very familiar with the camera. Actually, I just sold my D100 for it. You will enjoy it i am sure. In your profile you have to identify your gender. Defaults to blue faceless icon if unspecified.
