I got my 40D on February 10th. Today I rolled it over.......9999 plus 105 images as of today. Crap! That's a lot of pictures in just over a month. It must be the continuous shoot, I love that feature, so much faster than my old rebel. |

Holy moly -- I was impressed when my D300 rolled over after a year. You are trigger-happy! :-) |

LOL YOU GO GIRL!
That continuous shooting can really eat up the shutter count in a hurry :) you mine last Nov was just over a year old and I think it said that I had about 30k hits on it at that point, but I did also go down to the local drag strip last summer and that would easily count for 1000+ shots in a single night... |

Where do I find that on the D80? I gotta check mine out--I'm more in the 10000 a year vs. a month. |

I put about 5K in a month on my D90, and I was thinking of freezing it like a credit card;-);-) |
