My sister is 6 months pregnant and has asked me to take some photos of her over the next few weeks as she nears her due date in June.

I don't even know where to begin! I tried to do a search here but it only came up with a few shots so I was wondering if you guys could show me either shots you have taken or that you have favourited?

Also, I don't have a fancy studio or anything so tips on backgrounds, lighting and anything else you think might be useful would be gratefully received!

Thanks in advance :)

This is a triptych I did while my wife was pregnant. Shot with a black backdrop and 1 umbrella.

A first time effort for me... still, I think they turned out pretty good. :)

OK, my shot isn't anyway close to as good as the ones already posted. Previous posters created true art.

But I had fun with mine. So, here you go...

Thanks all, some really wonderful shots here! I really hope I can come up with even just one shot as good as these!

Here's a couple I did recently for the first time, my subject was pretty shy so not that creative.

Hi all, I was wondering if you could give me some tips on backdrops. I don't have a studio so am thinking of shooting this at home but I'd like some ideas on the sort of backdrops to use?

Or, would you recommend hiring a studio for a couple of hours?
