Was wondering if anyone has any experience with these tubes? I've been looking for a set and these are about 30% cheaper then the Kenko set. |

Im not sure if anyone here has the pro optics tubes, but im sure they will work great. No optics involved and you will manual focus anyway

I have one Canon and one Kenko tube. The difference in construction is significant. I wouldd not buy anything cheaper than the Kenko. My concern would be the mechanical robustness. I'm counting on the extension tube to hold my much more expensive lens to the camera. Also, there are electrical contacts that the tube interfaces with on both the camera and the lens. The cheaper you go on the tube, the more cheaply the contacts will be made. There may be a long-term effect on the life of the lens or camera contacts if the extension tube contacts are too hard or improperly shaped.
Buy the Kenko tubes, and don't look back.
