well, at least I learned what "tog brollys" are......

that, plus "Fosters. It's Australian for beer, mate" and "g'day" makes me almost fluently bilingual now!! Judi will understand me, and I her!

No worries.... :-)

I would almost bet my shirt that not too many Ozzies would consider Fosters a good representative of Australian beers...

I always thought it was the crap left after washing out the XXXX coppers at the end of the brewing cycle :)

Not to COMPLETELY derail this or anything....
any recommendations for a good Aussie brewery that possibly exports? I know this is likely a Catch-22 request, but was curious.
I've had a couple from Australia/New Zealand, but there don't seem to be many imported from there to my area. I have a penchant for trying new beers and they regularly get new foreign beers in my area (lots of beer here...6 breweries within a bike ride of each other). My favorite styles are Stout, Porter, and IPA, but will try anything.
Some I've tried:
Coopers
Steinlager
Toohey's
and I think J. Boag & Son was maybe the name. Possibly others too, but I remember those.
Derailment over.

ETA something of relevance: I'm curious about the pricing... why would somebody pay somebody else for a DIY solution? That ziptie light on there is kinda wild looking too. Although he isn't the first to do it, the "Game Enhancing Facade" is amusing too.
