I have two raw images shot at almost the same time, at the same location. Though white balance and tint values are the same for the two images in Lightroom, the colors feel rather different from one image to the other.
Is it possible to copy the "color definitions" of one image to the other? Is there a simple way to accomplish this in CS3?
Thanks in advance.

In CS3 proper, open both images, on the one you want to change open Image/adjust/match color, then specify the second as the source image.
In ACR (RAW) highlight/copy the color temperature of the good image in the white balance chart vicinity, then open the other and paste that value in.

If the two images were shot in the same lighting, and you were *not* shooting under either fluorescent lighting or arc lighting, then you should be able to make them very close by doing the following:
- Make sure that exposure, WB and tint are all set to something other than "auto."
- In the Develop Module, at lower left, click the "Copy" button, check the items you want to copy, and confirm
- click the second image and click "Paste." |

I can't make it work in Lightroom, but the "match color" function in CS3 worked like a charm! :)
Thanks guys! |
