What about a parking garage challenge?

I took a class with a guy who was working on a portfolio of parking garage images. From such a mundane subject he had created some moving work.

Could be interesting. The garage where I work has some great morning light coming into it. I think I took one for the camerphone SC a while back...

Not a fanstastic shot, but it WAS a cameraphone. I think the idea has some potential. Does you friend have any of those photos online to see?

Not that I know of. The class was a while back. Lighting, shape, texture could all be put to use.

Cool suggestion. I love parking garage shots! ;)

The only problem is that there is always some annoying security guard around asking to turn the camera off :/

Oh, yeah. I forgot about the annoying security guard where I work.

The parking garage where my partner works is dark and dull and grey with no light. But there are no security guards there either.

I find each parking garage has it's own unique character. Some are bright while many are dark and dank.

Maybe the challenge could just be parking garage roof tops?

The gloomier the better! :-)
