Anyone else giving it a shot?

There's no pressure to pimp for our own votes since you can only vote for one idea. I thought we could all post links to our own entries, and maybe show a little DPC loyalty and love? Or root each other on. I'd LOVE to see a DPC'er win this. :)
So, post your ideas! I'd love to see what everyone else has thought up!

Your self-assignment looks very ambitious Jenn, but also very worthy. It would be a book, I think, so if you get to that point I hope you publish one.
My own pet project would be called Laundry - Proof of Life. The idea is that in pretty much every place in the world, laundry appears as the ultimate flag of humanity. Not just in the pitifully deprived places or the places ravaged by war (although those are certainly compelling settings), but also in the busiest cities and the most remote communities. The impulse to do our laundry is emblematic of who we are, and yet it so often passes without notice. And it also nearly always makes an especially interesting subject for photography.
This assignment is not suitable for me, because I don't travel enough any more, but I did propose it to my friend  Zigomar and I hope he might tackle it in his travels. He has the right eye to do it justice. |

| That idea is fantastic - and totally unique! I love it. I hope Zigomar does try it - it sounds like a great project. |
