Hey everyone it's been a while since I posted something here but I've been watching others uploads regularly and have renewed my membership pretty much just for this thread.
I've been quite busy since I last posted but I'll try to sum it up with a few recent and recentish pictures.
I done a bit of traveling with my Voigtlander Bessa R2 & Jupiter-8 50mm 2.0 Combination
I got a Leica 50mm Elmar 2.8 (and got rid of the Jupiter-8)
I started a project documenting construction work and the changing face of cities
and finally and most recently (Yesterday) I overcome my fear of photographing strangers on the street shooting these portraits with a Linhof/Rodenstock 4x5.
Looking forward to hearing your feedback on my recent work and participating in the discussions throughout the thread.
James :)

This was a bit of a pain in the ass, but kinda fun too. Opened a 110 film cartridge. Removed old color film. Slit a roll of 120 Rollei Super Pan 200 to 16mm (110 size) and loaded in to the cartridge. Wasted a couple of rolls until I figured out I had to cut some notches in the cartridge to confuse the camera... Developed in rodinal (R09) 1-100 for an hour.

tnun, God bless her, sent me not only film for a film swap (stay tuned!) but the camera too. I put some Neopan Acros through it to get the feel for it. A bit overexposed, this one, but wow -- what bokeh!
A recurring theme, Impossible film gets impossibler with every ejection.

these are dark days, new batch of chems after a disaster development, compensating by under exposing. |

Nice Ben, love how film natively streams us into creating sets of related images. Digital tends to be a shotgun approach, though it has plenty of benefits. Interesting blog for you filmaniacs //blog.timlaytonphotography.com/ apologies if it has already been posted. |

This image was taken with a Russian Sonnar copy. Jupiter 8 50mm f/2.0 c1971. The image is at f/2.8 with expired HP5 @400. Pretty darn good for a $45ish lens, yes? :)

My XA2 film advance wheel is stuck, along with the rewind button. Can't load a fresh roll. Battery is fresh.
Thread on Flickr, same problem.
Any thoughts before I crack it open? |

That was my lens of choice before I got my Leica, you should see some of the success I had with it. Great bargain :) |

For those who use Lightroom. This looks like a decent plugin to add non-digital EXIF data to film scans. I haven't tried it yet. See the May 24th post.

1st shot with the 1947 Lumiere Scout Box, only 4 of the 8 images produced any result so was an expensive exercise lol.
