Well... the time has come... to consider a body upgrade... the D200 is an amazing camera, and I'll be keeping it... but I'm looking for a new primary body... the D700/D300 (or their coming replacements) are looking like my choices...
I've read a plethora of reviews and used both cameras. I was satisfied with the handling of both...
However, looking around the net, I've seen quite a few posts, comments, and general chats about the "crispness" a full frame sensor brings to portraits... is anyone able to enlighten me as to exactly what is meant by this?

Keep the D200 for the crop factor and action shots - get the 700 for portraits and landscapes - there you go
:- )
p.s. or get the D3 - that seems a pretty well sorted camera |
