I have been searching for a less-expensive all-in-one zoom and saw this at Sigma. APO 200-500mm F2.8/400-1000mm F5.6 EX DG Lens
I did not know they had a 34-pound lens for only $34,000! They need to throw in a pack mule with it or at least a little red wagon LOL

Oh, crack me UP! B&H recommended additional purchase with this lens is a microfiber cleaning cloth (good idea) and this:
* Monostat
* RS16K ART All-Round Monopod, with Anti Rotation Tubing - Black
* more info
* MFR# 191009
* B&H# MORS16KART
* Price: $ 174.95
THAT's a real useful item for a 34-lb lens, sheesh...
R.

Oh I've got some great ridiculous lenses I've found...
Canon EF 1200mm F/5.6L USM Special order only (formerly a used lens was listed on B&H for $99,000)
Canon 5200mm F14 (was formerly on E-Bay)
These last two aren't lenses... but are still cool.
