Hey group,
I'm still working on my own FU (hopefully I'll get it posted this weekend). I went out last night with some local photographers from a meetup.com group, and we took head-shot portraits of each other for the Strobist Boot Camp assignment. I'll add my entry to my portfolio here later tonight.

I just checked in on the falcons, and I can only see one, even in the wide view. Have any of you been watching? I'm hoping the camera doesn't show the whole box and that the second one is underneath the camera view, or I'll be sad.
Woot! He/she is under the camera - just caught a wee glimpse. :-)

Sara - there's a live camera on a box in Salt Lake City where there are two baby peregrine falcons. I've been watching since a couple of days after they hatched.
Go here
Be patient - takes a minute or two to come up. You'll get a black screen first. |

Hi Gang,
I have another peregrine falcon link. This one is in Philadelphia, five babies, now down to four (one had a fall before he could fly).

(ThereΓΆ€™s a link on this page for the live web cam)--under the picture is a link for the live cam, it circulates between two cameras.

hey guess what? i am officially the photograpger for a website about the Flathead Valley(paid internshiip actually), buuut, i managed to delete 80% of the photos from a photoshoot i was paid to do, so now im in the, hmm, how do you say it... |

LOL! It was either mom or dad (I suspect dad) who just stopped by the SLC nest - with nothing to eat. The kids screeched at him, loudly, so he turned and left.
Oh and the bigger of the two (most likely a female) has been starting to practice the whole flapping of wings thing. It amazes me just how fast they grow!

LOL I thought the exact same thing. Apparently when it gets overheated it lies very quietly. First off I thought perhaps it was a catch by the parents as food. But it is one of the little ones resting quietly. |
