A lot or photogs use duct, gaffer, masking tape, etc... to contribute to their work in some form.
But its always out of the scene.
Why not have the tape as the main subject?

I saw this before and didn't comment but I agree it would be a cool one - it would (I think) yield some unexpected results.

When the aliens decide to conquer our world, they will bring a ray gun that makes all the duct tape fall off of everything. We will be powerless.
I also think that a "Tape" challenge would make for some interesting images, as well as a few very bad ones.
