Cool ones GeneralE!

This would have been my end entry. I probably should have entered it since my begin sucked. hhaha.

cool shot, limerick. I actually liked your begin--I gave it a 7.

Two quick questions for everyone. (this was my shot)

#1: What could I do differently with the same setting to make the shot more interesting/compelling?

#2: I had a very hard time deciding which shot to enter. I liked this shot better because you could see more of the kite, but it didn't seem to fit the "end" category as well as the other shot. Which would you have entered, and would you have scored this shot any different than the first one?

Thanks in advance!! I look forward to your feedback!

What I would have done was crop it in tighter. I would have cropped the tree in half and up to just about the kite. Then I would have cropped off everything to the right of the boy. (You also have sensor dust in the blue above the boy you could have cloned out in basic editing). From there I would have probably used clarify if you have Paint Shop Pro but if not I would have given it more saturation or brightness and contrast. Just me tho.
