OK - one of you needs to get the fisheye out and document the fact we're all sitting in the same room editing and typing on three different computers.... just because it's so gosh darn geeky it needs to be recorded.

Rumor has it Christoph made it back as well, but his computer still won't let him talk to DPC. I think it's an intervention kind of thing....

Remember, Cory - small jpeg, resize, submit... :-)

Nice shots, Christoph! Keep posting while you have the chance.

And one I forgot to post to here:

A park in the middle of the skyscrapers of Frankfurt.

If you need a place to stay, let me know - I can recommend a guest house that was wonderful!

I completely forgot I had this one - would have been a good FS candidate. Well, you know, a good candidate for me, not a good candidate for a good score!

i think you have my vote for this one, deb. at least you would have spared me some laughers...;)

And, alas, the over-edited Topaz'd HDR'd tonemapped view of Frankfurt - probably would have scored at least a 5.3!

A fun shot from Wiesbaden:

Some pigeons:

And if there's an activity going on that captures everyone's attention, you can shoot candids for a long time without anyone noticing!

But WHAT was going on....?

Heh! You have to wait a couple of days, then I'll show you. It was indeed puzzling. :-)

And I know Cory has some great candids from Wiesbaden. And Christoph has more from Frankfurt.... They need to post them!
03/02/2009 04:15:35 PM · #48
ha! i was just going to remind you to post these...you got some nice ones!

i'd like to post some more but i don't have photoshop on this linux computer, and i can't figure out working with krita or the gimp. anyone know of a linux compatible editing software that lets me at least do some basic adjustments and resizing/saving for web?
03/02/2009 04:56:58 PM · #49
