Friday night, I was trying to download some shots that I took on Thursday...
I opened PSE7 like always, went to
> Organizer
> File
> Get Photo's and Videos
> From Camera or Card Reader
> Get Photos from
> Nikon D80 (hooked directly from my computer to my camera, and I am using Advanced settings (cked all my settings) waited for the photo thumbnails to load
> Get Photos....
Then my computer locked up....it stayed on the the 0% loaded for over 15 minutes...I had to manually shut down the computer (3 times) as it wasn't responding. Each time repeating the steps and now I get an "Files were not obtained from device"...I have since tried to just take the SD card and put it directly into my computer and I still get the same message...(here is the rest of the message that appears...."Adobe Photoshop Elements 7.0 cannot obtain files from this device. Please ensure that the device is connected properly (the SD card is in my computer) or that the battery is charged. And try again"...)

I think my computer has something hung up, and when I had powered down manually, something didn't clear in this process and I don't know how to clear it...and PS Tech is closed until Monday...but I need to work on these pictures...

Can any one help me....Please
