Hey people:
I am going to be spending the next weekend at phoenix, arizona, and I am trying to workout a plan for places to see around that area. I want it so that its something I can do in 2 days, and is also the good season to visit that place. Some of them I had in mind were:
1. Sedona
2. Painted Desert, petrified forest
3. Antelope Canyon (page)
4. Navajo County (monumant valley, canyon de chelly)
5. Chiricahua national Monument.
Can anyone give me tips on which of these closeby and do-able in 2 days? If you can suggest other good places, that would be good too. I am primarily looking to take pictures, and possibly some short hikes.
Thanks :)
Karthik

WOW! you just hit them all up! lol Those really are the best places to go. However, Sedona is much better in the fall with the leaves changing color. If you are looking for something to do in 2 days, i would say antelope canyon. by far the best quick place in AZ. and you would be hitting up the painted desert on the way. You can also see horseshoe bend while your up in page. If you ever come back to AZ for an appropriate amount of time you should hit up havasupai and fossil springs.
