do the scores tend to be low at first and slowly climb?
just wondering, seems to be the trend with mine anyhow.

Depends on which time in the challenge the troll voters come out. It seems they vote in waves. ;)

They must not have voted yet, because my score is still cimbing... :)

I started out good for the first 6 votes, then got hammered for the next few hours and now I'm climbing back up. After 25 votes I was very low, now after 59 I am back up to not too bad. The first few hours always seem the worst, I really shouldn’t look at the votes at all until at least 24 hours have gone by.

See that my votes are climbing now and for me it sometimes seems to be a trend. But it´s not a rule and for me it seems that the final results are pretty similar to the status aftur 50-100 votes.

My scores tend to be in a U curve..

Start good at first, then they go low and then they go up again.

Noticed that too. As I said above: "there is no rule"

I suppose I can take a certain amount of blame for that, though I don't consider myself a troll. My tactic in voting is to go through all of them (yes all) and vote in the range of 4-7 (though certainly some are exceptional and get voted very high right away). Then the next day, I'll look at all the thumbnails and resort them, teasing a few more high ones up and taking a few down. So I suppose it's possible that you might not get any additional votes during that time, but your score could change radically if others do as I am.

Certainly looking at the early voting when only about 20% of the votes (and not final ones at that) is not always a good indication of how the rest of the week will go.

I know for the last one I started out rather high and fell a full point by the end. Sigh. I think I'll do better at this one, I'm learning so much already.

This is the frist challenge where I have gone up 1/2 point from the beginning to now. Am used to dropping, dropping, dropping. Still, at 5.2 I am no position to 'ribbon', but if the trend continues of 1/2 point increase each day...LOL

My scores almost always start, continue, and end within a .5 variation from the start of scoring. Some days it swings a little high, someday a little low. Mine started at 4.6, and I'll be it will finish at 4.4 (a new personal best for a bad shot :)
