Okay, so I typically don't have many questions regarding the rules, but I'm stuck and not sure if something I did was too much on a current entry.

At what point is considered illegal? For one of my shots, I have a small area at the edge of a shot where I cloned something out, but that was all it was. I cloned it to match a background to make it look stronger. but if I were working on DPC sized picture the clone brush was about 53 px diameter.

Anyways, sorry 'bout the generalities, what are your thoughts?

It is too risky an area to just guess. Submit your original and finished version to SC via the Contact Page for pre-validation.

I think that falls under the rule of "if it changes the viewers description of the scene". But, to be sure, as Judi said, submit it for validation.
