I just went through and voted on 234 images... did a screen refresh and now only 219 images lol.

Had to admit, some looked familiar as I was voting... by which I mean I think on a couple of occasions I saw the same submission a couple of times - guessing some people were submitting original Ansel images. Either that or I can't count :-)

Wonder how many more will be culled before the close lol

Um... there hasn't been a single DQ yet for that challenge. None.

Oh. Duh lol

Must be the drugs.

I see the other challenge has 134 images on which I also voted, so I guess I got the two numbers confused lol. But having said that... I now cant find some of the images I voted on that looked very similar to some others. Are people able to withdraw submissions during the voting stage?

Yes people can request a self DQ from the challenge.

I found an Ansel pic in another recent challenge. It's not even showing up as a DQ now. Gone completely.

I can appreciate the idea behind doing it. Either making the point that even the masters had so-so casual snapshots, or that we are all too damn picky.

There weren't any of those in Ansel Adams II either. AFAIK, every entry submitted is still there.

I think I know which one you mean.

In this case, in my opinion, it scored low because it did not meet the challenge.
