The thumbnail button/feature only works if the photo is in a DPC portfolio. From an outside website would have to make your own thumbnail version, or use a site like pBase.com which will generate the thumbnail for you from your originally uploaded file.

It looks like a badge or fridge magnet of a dragon.

As for the image... the white background is nicely white, which is always a good thing. The shadows give it some depth. The crop is tight so that's fine. The reflections compliment the metallic-look of the item. As a product shot, it's ok. As anything else it doesnt really hold much interest for me.

End of the handle of a cane or umbrella? Lighting looks pretty harsh -- I'd like to see it with softer diffuse lighting, which would probably give it quite a different mood.

It's Falcor, the flying, pink, poodle-dragon from The Never Ending Story, right?

I don't know what it is but I bet I could open a bottle of beer with it.

And it doesn't look pink to me.

It looks like a Chinese dragon, carved in cherry wood. I have many pieces of chinese furniture, and some with a very similar cut out. It could be part of an elongated end table or even on a bed frame. I have seen this design mostly on functional furniture (it looks steady and thick), but it could be a wall hanging.

Why do you ask?

How big is it and what's it made of? I was thinking of a bottle opener too, assuming it's made of metal.

The character in the movie is (apparently) pink, not this photo.

The suspense is over. You are all wrong (well, some of you got close--umbrella handle...) But thanks for the comments and for the tips. I agree with moodville. Not much more than a product shot at best, but i like dragons, so...
Anyway, thanks...
