With all the people here and all the equipment they use, it seems incongruous that there isn't a reviews/feedback on equipment section where people can rate and explain why they like a certain peice of equipment/software/hardware etc etc.
It would also get more hits for DPC which is more exposure which is no bad thing, right? |

In the gray box to the right of the photo on each of the equipment pages, there's even a space for "User reviews," which has said "Coming soon" since I joined 3 years ago.
I'd really like to see that feature arrive, in much the same form as it exists on the FredMiranda page, where users can assign a number of stars, then list some pros and cons, and finally write a short-ish review. I think it would take a lot of the "What about this camera/lens/flash" questions out of the forums, freeing up the front page.

| I wholeheartedly agree, I can't think of any reasons why this hasn't actually come to fruition already. It would be a great resource for anyone just passing by the site, thereby generating more hits and potentially revenue for DPC. |

I can't think of any reasons why DPCPrints hasn't been updated, either - there's another area of the site that could become a revenue-generator if it were made (much) more user friendly. Guess there are just other priorities right now....
