Does anyone else have the problem where EOS Utility doesn't recognize your camera? It's only been happening since i got my new laptop and have Windows Vista.

Are you running Vista 64? Make sure you look for Vista 64 drivers from Canon's site.

I don't think so. It's the vista that came with the computer. I looked for drivers and didnt' really see anything on Canon's site.

There are several disclaimers with the download. Do you have the right version of .NET installed and the proper versions of all the connected software?

Download a free update to fix the problem, or buy a new $2400 computer...

You Mac folks are odd :-)

My friend has the same camera as you do and he had the same problem you did. I just left him a message, so hopefully he will call me back and tell me what he had to do. I know he said he had to download more than one driver from the Canon website to make it work, problem is I don't know which drivers!
