		| | I've currently got a nikon coolpix 5400.. and I'm upgrading soon to nikon D70.
What I want to know, is it worthwhile keeping this as a 'spare' camera, or should I sell it. Does anyone own more than one camera? Do they use more than one camera? What uses could it have? I don't want to sell it and then realise I could actually use it in the future. It's a really good camera and I'm happy with it.

Another question I have is the starter package of D70.. What is a good starter lens? and also what are good quality telephoto and macro lens' for the D70? The starter lenses I've seen for sale are:

Nikon SLR D70 /tamron 18-35mm lens digital camera
 $1,999.00 (AU) or $1,500 (US)

NIKON SLR D70 /NIKKOR 18-70MM LENS DIGITAL CAMERA
 $2,183.00 (AU) or $1,637 (US)

A lot of questions I know, I really appreciate any answers/discussion.

 Cheers,
 -Dan.

		| | I kept my old camera when I upgraded to my DSLR. It's handy to have for hanging out with friends, or taking a quick shot of some ghetto studio I've rigged up. If it were me, I'd keep it. I might sell off a bunch of accessories (teleconverters, wide angle adapters, etc..) that might not be useds as often anymore. But I'd definitely keep the camera itself :)
I'd go with the kit with Nikkor glass over the Tamron glass. But that's just a first instinct. Anymore info you can give on the lenses? Max apertures, etc..?

Thanks AA.. I don't have any other info on the lenses unfortunately, I don't know much about them. I was leaning towards the more expensive option myself.
